Judith is a gem! After 50 years of sewing and more fitting courses than I care to divulge, her expert guidance helped me FINALLY approach my bodice issues head on. I now love the geometry of pattern alteration and can move forward confidently to make clothes that fit!

I will continue to learn from her once I start the Creative Hinterland course!

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Learn To Sew Your Clothes Course, but already after the first modules I have gotten information that is invaluable. Simple things that as a self-taught sewer no one ever told me. I look forward to going deeper into the course, and with the knowledge I have gained so far to finally being able to work WITH my sewing machine instead of AGAINST it!

These courses are amazing!! I am huge believer of learning the basics right and only then learn shortcuts. After taking the first courses (the pajama top and bottom) I checked a couple of YouTube videos "Things I wish I knew when I started sewing" and without exception all the things there were mentioned and practiced in the course (how to properly cut, press, ..) . Things like the grain line, etc.., are now engraved in my mind - I didn't realize how fundamental these were at the time! While now I do take shortcuts here and there - I am aware of where I can do that and where I shouldn't (hello pressing!). Highly recommend these courses, they do feel like being in a classroom with an amazing teacher! Many of these are so nice I can get away with binge watching them !

This is a wonderful platform and the community is simply amazing! I am so grateful to be a part of it! I really love the way the lessons have been set up and I'm really loving that I can easily go back to a section and re-watch it just in case I missed something.

The Hinterland Dress is EVERYTHING in my wardrobe. I wear my Hinterlands all year round here in Australia.

I'm looking forward to sewing a Lichen duster for next autumn/winter so I can wear it over my Hinterlands with tights. Minimal effort but so lovely (and comfy!)

You want to love your wardrobe. You want the joy of making something beautiful.

But, let’s be honest, that long list of potential projects can be OVERWHELMING, making you feel anxious rather than joyful.

I’ve developed a Guide to Holding Time for Creativity where I show you a path to slowing down, finding mental space, and turning your sewing into a practice of self-care.
